Winter Wassail

Sunday 29^th January

12-4.30pm, St Werburghs City Farm, Boiling Wells site, £3/£1 on the door.

 

Stories, music, singing, dancing and apple tree ceremony – fun for all ages!

 

Come along to help us choose a Wassail King or Queen for the new year and give the apple trees our blessing to produce lots of fruit next autumn.

There’ll be refreshments from tricky cider company and a BBQ with local farm burgers as well as a hearty vegetarian soup option. We also have special guest storytellers lined up and a shadow puppet performance of the Arabian Nights as well as the usual musical delights and morris dancers.

It’s all set to be a fabulous, fun, family day. Perfect for blowing away those winter blues!
